Do I need prior experience to participate in a ski or snowboard programme?

It depends on the programme, as each one is designed for a different stage of progression.

The Mountain Shredders Programme is best suited to younger skiers and snowboarders who are building their skills. It focuses on developing strong fundamentals like balance, control and confidence on the mountain, all within a fun, supportive group environment. It’s a great option for those who are comfortable on beginner terrain and ready to keep progressing.

The Freeride World Tour Academy Programme is aimed at more experienced riders who are confident across a range of terrain and looking to take things further. With a focus on freeride and freestyle progression, this programme is designed for those wanting to refine technique, build confidence in more challenging conditions and push their riding to the next level.

Each programme has recommended ability levels to help ensure everyone gets the most out of their time on snow, and that groups are well matched for progression.

What is the difference between a Programme and a Lesson?

Programmes are designed for ongoing progression over multiple days or weeks, rather than a single session. They’re a great option if you’re looking to build skills over time, with consistent coaching and a structured approach.

Lessons are typically booked day-by-day, while programmes follow a set schedule and allow for more focused development.

How do instructors keep lessons safe?

Our Snowsports team is made up of certified professionals with top-tier training. Every lesson is structured to match your ability, comfort level, and conditions on the day. We start with clear safety briefings, keep group sizes manageable, and focus on steady progression - from first balance to first carve.

You'll also learn the Snow Responsibility Code along the way, so you're not just riding better, but riding with awareness of others on the mountain.
