You can earn your days skiing or riding at Mt Hutt, Coronet Peak and The Remarkables between 1 September and the end of the season.

How do I sign up?
1. Grab an eligible lift pass
To participate in Spring Shred Challenge, you'll need a valid 2026 lift pass. Most lift passes are eligible, check out our exclusions here.
2. Opt-In to updates & promotional items
Adults (those 16 or older on 1 June 2026) will need to opt-in to receiving updates and promotional offers on their account online. Kids under the age of 16 don't need to opt-in.
How to opt-in:
Head to your MyPass Profile and make sure the blue toggle button next to 'Would you like to opt into receiving updates and promotional offers from us' says YES. If you're making changes, don't forget to scroll to the bottom of the page and click SAVE.
3. Ski More Days
Once your lift pass is sorted and you're opted in, there's just one more thing to do - shred!
Ski Mt Hutt, Coronet Peak, The Remarkables, or all three, and start earning rewards! Every 3rd day you ski with us unlocks a new reward, all the way up to the 12-day grand prize: a ski or snowboard tune.

Hit 9 days and score $25 MyPass Money to spend in our retail stores, cafés and restaurants, or put it towards your next NZSki product. You could even get a head start on a 2027 Season Pass and get next season sorted early.
Please note: You’ll need to visit Guest Services to load your MyPass Money before you can spend it. MyPass Money is valid until 31 October 2026.

And just like that, you’ve earned yourself a free Ski or Snowboard Tune. Nice one. To redeem it, pop into our on-mountain workshop. The team will let you know their availability and when your gear will be ready, with each tune taking around 30 minutes per guest.

Your Spring Pass is valid from the 1st of September until the end of the season at each mountain.
Simply scan through any chairlift gate once with your MyPass card on a valid lift pass. When you've hit three days, you'll unlock the first reward.
Once you earn a prize, it will be automatically loaded onto your Mypass card. You will receive an email to let you know the prize has been uploaded.
Please note you will need to register online as mentioned above and "opt in" to receive email promotional offers from us to receive these reward notification emails. Sometimes our communications fall into the junk folders, so if you have registered and are not receiving our emails, please check your junk folder and add us to your safe sender’s list.
Alternatively, you can check your rewards with our Guest Service team on the mountain.
Yes, your reward will be ready to redeem on the same day you earnt it. We’ll email you to let you know it’s ready to redeem.
Absolutely! Once you’ve earned a prize it can be redeemed at The Remarkables, Coronet Peak or Mt Hutt.
Your free hot drink includes any regular size coffee, tea or hot chocolate with regular milk. Syrups can be added on, and drinks can be upsized for an additional cost.
The Coke reward can be a Coca-Cola product from the 450ml carbonated beverage range, including Coke, Coke Zero, Coke No Sugar, Vanilla Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Fanta, or L&P.
No. The full $25 must be spent by 31 October 2026. Any remaining funds after our mountains have closed for the snow season will be lost.
Ski or snowboard tune that involves an edge and hot wax from our on-mountain workshop. The prize is available to use during the 2026 winter season and up to 26 June 2027 at either Coronet Peak, The Remarkables or Mt Hutt. Subject to availability.
If you wish to redeem your ski or snowboard tune, please visit our on-mountain workshop. They will notify you of their availability and an estimated time to complete the tune, approximately 30 minutes per guest. Please note that this service is subject to availability and if the workshop is fully booked for that day you will need to try again on another date. Capacity fills on a first in, first served basis each day.
The Spring Shred Challenge (SSC) promotion runs from 1 September 2026 through till the end of the 2026 winter season and is valid at Coronet Peak, The Remarkables and Mt Hutt.
Guests that ski enough days from 1 September until the end of the season can earn rewards.

A “ski day” is counted by scanning a valid MyPass card onto any of the lifts, or into a valid Snowsports lesson product, at Coronet Peak, The Remarkables of Mt Hutt (NZSki).
To participate and be eligible for earning these rewards, guest must have a registered MyPass account using a valid email address and adults (aged 16+) must be opted-in to receive marketing communications from NZSki. Anyone under this age does not need to “opt-in”.
You can “opt-in” to receiving marketing communications from NZSki by visiting our website and clicking on the person “icon” in the top right of your screen.
- If you’ve purchased online with us previously, you’ll be able to log in and select “yes” for the question “Would you like to opt into receiving updates and promotional offers from us?” on your profile page.
- If you have a MyPass Card from skiing but have not created an online account on our webstore, you can sign up using the Webcode (the alpha numeric number on the back of your MyPass Card) to set up your account and then select “yes” for the question “Would you like to opt into receiving updates and promotional offers from us?”. Please save the change.
The Spring Shred Challenge is open to most guests with valid 2026 Lift Passes. Guests aged 5 and under and 75+ are also eligible, as are those on local school passes
However, there are some exclusions including:
- All Snow Machine Packages (including 3 & 5 day)
- Staff and discounted spouse and dependent season passes (including First Tracks when used by staff)
- Ski Bus only, Sightseeing/Peak Gondola passes
- IKON passes
- Mountain Collective passes
- Race Early Access passes (outside of their season pass)
- FOC volunteers, ambassadors, athletes and coaches
- Student Rate/FOC adults on school groups
- Trojan FOC (free of cost) Season Pass
- Any Adult FOC (free of cost) 3 Peak Pass
- Elite Racer Pass
Rewards are defined as follows and must all be redeemed by the end of the 2026 season unless stated otherwise.
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for other products.
3 Days = Free Hot Drink (coffee or hot chocolate), regular size. Upsizes and additional items such as syrups will incur a cost to be covered by the guest.
6 Days = Pie & coke (The Coke reward can be a Coca-Cola product from the 600ml carbonated beverage range, including Coke, Coke Zero, Coke No Sugar, Vanilla Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Fanta, or L&P.)
9 Days = $25 Mypass Money. This can be used at our retail shop, cafe/restaurants or towards another NZSki product (e.g. put towards a 2027 Season Pass). The MyPass Money voucher is only valid to use up to 31 October 2026.
12 Days = Ski or snowboard tune that involves an edge and hot wax from our on-mountain workshop. Aavailable to use this season and up to 27 June 2027 at either Coronet Peak, The Remarkables or Mt Hutt. Subject to availability.
How to redeem your rewards:
Guests will be notified via email when their reward has been assigned to their profile and is able to be used. If a guest is aged 15 or under and does not have an email address associated with their account – please visit Guest Services to check if your prize has been allocated.
To redeem your prize, head to our F&B, Retail, Workshop or Guest Services locations on mountain or in the Queenstown Snow Centre and tell our team that you have earned and would like to claim your prize. They will ask you to tap your MyPass Card on the scanner to verify the prize and from there will be able to issue your verified prize.
F&B prizes are subject to availability with limited daily capacity available.
If you wish to redeem your $25 MyPass Money on-mountain, you will need to visit our Guest Services team to nominate a PIN before you can use. To use the MyPass Money on our website, our Guest Services team will first need to redeem the prize and apply to your MyPass card associated with your online account.
If you wish to redeem your ski or snowboard tune, please visit our on-mountain workshop. They will notify you of their availability and an estimated time to complete the tune, approximately 30 minutes per guest. Please note that this service is subject to availability and if the workshop is fully booked for that day you will need to try again on another date. Capacity fills on a first-in, first served basis each day and is limited.
NZSki make no guarantees that capacity will be available for everyone within the allocated dates/times to redeem any of their prizes.
